Gloria has been practicing in the counseling field for over 14 years. Her clinical orientation is focused on being strengths-based and solution-focused. She is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and incorporates a mindfulness-based therapeutic approach. When working with couples, Gloria focuses on building and repairing communication within the couple. She aims to teach effective communication skills within the relationship.

 

Gloria’s therapeutic role is to provide a warm, empathetic, and supportive environment, to help facilitate the process of positive change within her clients’ lives.

 

Gloria received her Master in Social Work (MSW) degree from Rutgers University and her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Hofstra University
